• Demonstrate basic knowledge of intracranial anatomy and physiology.
• Outline proper techniques for the performance of TCD and TCI examinations.
• Identify normal waveform characteristics and apply diagnostic criteria.
• State the clinical usefulness and limitations of TCD and TCI techniques.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Sonographers, physicians, nurse practitioners, PA’s or other medical professional performing and/or interpreting transcranial Doppler ultrasound examinations. Physician participants may include (but is not limited to) neurology, vascular surgery, critical care and radiology.
