• State routine imaging views and techniques for acquiring 2D cardiac images.
• Outline criteria for performing qualitative and quantitative assessment of LV function in a limited echo exam.
• State differential diagnosis of shock and the associated ultrasound findings.

Physicians, nurse practitioners, PA’s or other medical professional performing and/or interpreting: emergency medicine ultrasound examinations. Participants may include (but is not limited to): emergency medicine, critical care, hospitalist, emergency, trauma, surgeons, internal medicine, primary care physicians, and sonographers.
