AIUM Maternal Diabetes, Associated Embryopathy and Fetopathy, and Ultrasound 2020

• Utilize ultrasound to identify embryonic and fetal abnormalities associated with maternal diabetes;
• Understand the difference between abnormalities associated with maternal diabetes that develop during the embryonic period versus the fetal period; and
• Improve patient outcome by understanding the importance of optimizing glycemic control before and during pregnancy related to diabetic embryopathy and fetopathy.
